Let's raise money for Light a Path!!! Light A Path is a non-profit peace and wellness initiative which provides free mind and bodywork to Asheville’s underserved and vulnerable community members. A group of 50 volunteers offer classes in yoga, meditation, strength training,  and give craniosacral, massage and acupuncture therapies to those who would otherwise not have access or exposure to such healing modalities. Their programs currently serve folks who are incarcerated—in both prison and jail, those in recovery from drug and alcohol abuse, the unhoused, at-risk youth, young mothers, low-income seniors, and justice-involved folks transitioning from incarceration back into the community.

Light A Path believes that connection creates resilience. Light A Path provides healing modalities to those who need it most; and by doing so combats power structures that favor the privileged, in turn nurturing a more whole and healthy Asheville.
