    Lovely vase -- with a line!

    The shape and color of this vase are beautiful. The opening is very narrow, so I will likely end up using it for just a single flower or branch.

    The vase came with a visible line down one side (you can sort of see it in the photo; it is very noticeable in person). When I reached out to East Fork, I got this response:

    "All of our Vases are made by Anfora in a process known as slip casting. Essentially each vase is made of two separate halves that come together as one. Because of the specific way these are made, this variation in your Contour Vase is considered normal and within our quality standards for it.

    This was my third vase from this offering and the first with this issue. I wish I had known in advance, as I was getting for a location where it would be viewed 360 degrees around -- now I will have it on a shelf, adjusted so the line isn't visible. I just wish there had been a note about this possibility in the description!
