    All the basics in one set

    East Fork's site descriptions and offerings sounded ideal, but I wanted to check independent reviews first before buying. They were uniformly positive. On that basis we decided to replace all of our dinnerware, and add a few other pieces. Two starter sets (serves eight) formed the foundation for our dinnerware. After a month of daily use we are pleased with the performance of our East Fork dinnerware.

    What's to like:

    - uniform consistency in size, color and shape (nothing wobbly or uneven)

    - generous sizes with a raised edge the plates to keep food from creeping over the sides

    - absolutely microwave and dishwasher-friendly - even on the highest drying setting

    - warms up quickly under a heat lamp

    - Customer Service: after sending a photo of two dinner plates that arrived broken, replacements were ordered and shipped within 48 hours

    What to think about:

    - As Dinner plates are deep and may not fit neatly into all dishwasher racks (ours do) measure the plate spacing on your dishwasher rack and compare to the height specs on the East Fork site first before ordering.
