The Hand Painted Collection

Some traditions endure because they're practiced.

What began with one maker's brush now lives in the hands of another. Inspired by motifs originally painted by Alex Matisse, these pieces are brought to life by East Fork makers trained in the hand painting process.

Through practice, repetition, and shared knowledge, the tradition continues.

A Living Tradition

“The Reverdir collection earlier this year was a small capsule of
a larger idea.

The intent was to have something more lasting, something that I didn't do myself, which has been the East Fork story since the beginning. John, Connie and I were able to build something that involved a greater amount of people in this thing that we love.

It's been really beautiful to watch Rachel, who is our first hand painter, develop over the course of building this collection.”
