Myrtlewood Trug

Don Barber built boats for 40 years before scaling down just a bit. He’s been making these myrtlewood and copper baskets by hand since 1979 in the Pacific Northwest community of Coos Bay, Oregon. The oblong shape is useful for picking dahlias, carrying zucchini around the farmers' market or storing hand towels in the bathroom.
