Pottery Made With Integrity

East Fork was founded in 2009 with the mindset that eating, drinking, and making one’s home are sacred acts, and the objects we use day in and day out for making coffee, serving meals, and pouring water should be beautiful to look at and a pleasure to use.

Founded by two potters on an old tobacco farm in Madison County, North Carolina in 2009, East Fork has grown to a 125-employee-strong manufacturer that makes and sells a full range of contemporary ceramic dinnerware from our factory in Asheville, North Carolina. One of the few remaining dinnerware manufacturers in the US, we use regionally-sourced materials and pay our employees a base pay of $22/hour.

We sell our dinnerware alongside other beautiful, useful objects made by friends and strangers near and far. We raise funds and awareness for people and organizations working to make our communities more equitable and just.
