I searched high and low for the right watering can, none were quite right for me. Overly aesthetic or plastic or a brassy metal that just didn’t seem at home in my coastal home’s garden. When I saw East Fork was selling one I pricked up, assuming I was likely to find the Goldilocks of watering cans. Visually it is indeed exactly what I was looking for, but functionally I have three quibbles. First, it is a little smaller than ideal for watering my whole garden. I need to make two or three trips to the spigot for a refill to get all my pots. Second, the very tip of the spout is plastic and leaks from the bottom part in a thick stream, making it hard to steer the pour. Third, there is a prominent sticker on the side that I can’t seem to remove without leaving a mark. All told I would buy it again but if I could upgrade the spout and get a bigger size I would.
